(19^th September, 2024, Hong Kong) To further promote regional tourism cooperation and cultural exchange in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and enhance its international reputation and influence, the Great Towers Alliance of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area was officially established on September 12 at Canton Tower. Under the guidance and active promotion of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government Tourism Office, this alliance marks a deepened regional tourism cooperation among tower enterprises and signifies closer cultural and tourism collaboration within the Greater Bay Area. Mr. Li Bin, Director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, and Ms. Becky Ip, Deputy Executive Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, attended the event and delivered speeches. Representatives from the cultural and tourism departments of the nine cities in the Greater Bay Area, as well as Canton Tower, Shenzhen Ping An Finance Center Free Sky, sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck, Macau Tower Convention and Entertainment Center, along with travel agency representatives and media reporters, approximately 100 people in total, participated in the inauguration ceremony. That evening, Canton Tower was illuminated with congratulatory messages to celebrate the establishment of the Great Towers Alliance.
