As announced by The Hong Kong Tourism Board on 18 December 2019, the 2020 New Year’s Eve Fireworks Display on 31 December 2019 will be cancelled. It will be replaced by an enriched version of “Symphony of Lights”, an iconic multimedia show, plus the pyrotechnics released from rooftops of buildings along the Victoria Harbour, the giant countdown clock display on the glass curtain wall of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and an online lucky draw.
